by Quayside ConservatoriesTimber French doors come into their own when you need an opening which is larger than a single door width, but when you do not wish to go as far as opening up the length of a room which can restrict placement of the furniture and living space inside.
Timber French doors can be as plain or decorative as you wish them, but are usually the doors from what is a 'cosy' living space in the Winter, into a 'throw your room open and enjoy your garden' in the Summer. Therefore they are not as solid and potentially private as the 'Residential' door page, but can be open and 'let the light in'. Again, the wooden doors should reflect the style of your houses wooden windows and features of the windows can be used within the door design.
